Go to IMCDB. Search for your car. It doesn’t necessarily need to be the same model year; just the same car. What movies has one appeared in?
There’s been an Escort in Howard The Duck ...
In Maximum Overdrive ...
The Silence of the Lambs ...
South Park ...
Arrested Development ...
And who could forget the classic film of our generation, Aquí iba el himno ...
There are a lot of escorts in the film industry.
There are also a lot of Ford Escorts in the film industry.

Nothing beats taking a fine Escort to town and back on a lovely sunset evening. Especially not in a Ford Escort to boot!

Mine helped Marky Mark battle intergalactic alien robots...
... oddly, it was not one of the alien robots. It wasn’t really a Sonic either, haha

Well, not hunting through 34 paged of Ford Ranger listings for the gems. Besides, most titles appear to be in Spanish...
However, it is Hank Hill’s ride:
And was in 2004's unsung classic, ‘Snakehead Terror’

Jim and Pam had a last gen in the Office.
By the way, that bridge in maximum overdrive is in Wilmington NC. I've driven over it on numerous occasions!

I know it without looking. Gary Busey drove a similar Camaro in The Gumball Rally.

It’s been in a lot of things, so I got picky about the year range, color, and avoiding convertibles...
The Waterboy, 1998:
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, 2007:
Buttcrack, 1998:
Salem’s Lot, 2004:

I have no idea whether I should count Maximum Overdrive as among the best or worst movies for your car. Probably both.
There are 53 pages of W124 Benzes, so I’m not really inclined to mine that pit. Instead here are some of the other garage options:

19 pages for the Prelude. But the blatantly obvious one...

Surprisingly, it doesn't look THAT terrible.

Well, duh, when you drive such an iconic vehicle, who wouldn’t want to slip one into their film?

EDIT: I have a Gran Fury in Elderly blue. 1987 model. Looks just like the police car except... well... blue.

However this:

There are 26 pages of shit on IMCDB for the Maxima, spanning several generations.
My I30 is actually the European Maxima QX/JDM Cefiro. So, I’m featuring a couple US I30 appearances as well as some European Maxima cameos.
First, the I30 used in 24 looks just like mine:
A white I30 was used in 11/11/11 (which I had to include because of the cool title)
A blue Maxima QX was used in London’s Burning, and the comments on this car’s page are funny European trolls making fun of how they were only purchased by fleets and registered under Nissan:
There’s another QX parked in the Cassamballs parking lot in Im Angesicht des Verbrechens:
A snow rally Maxima in Maskvichi:
And finally, an I30 in Horrible Bosses:

I’m sure the Pontiac Vibe belonged to the director. Looks like a Deep Blue Sea but for hurricanes. Thankfully SLJ was not in it or the awesome would have been too much...

32 pages of W111, no time to look at them all. I know the “Marathon Man” role is a good one:
As well as the memorable role in “On Her Majestey’s Secret Service”:
A fintail can probably turn a bad movie good, so no “worst” for me, but I just learned this, holy crap, there’s a fintail seen on Family Guy:

There’s a Niva in The World Is Not Enough. Also in the Transporter TV series.
Sweet MJ in Monster’s Ball. Not the best of movies though. They’ve also featured parked in TWD and Breaking Bad.

MR2s are in nothing good. These cars seem surprisingly unloved. Unlike the similar Fiero which is surprisingly loved.
dtg11 - is probably on an adventure with Clifford
